This is the personal website of Padma Raj Lama. It is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. This page explains what is collected and why.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — for example, which pages are read and how people arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, and your device and browser. I see aggregated reports, not individual identities. Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure their performance. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's My Ad Center, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland), you are asked for consent before these cookies are used. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

Contact form

If you send a message through the contact form, your name, email address, subject, and message are stored in this site's content-management system so I can read and reply to them, and may be forwarded to my inbox by email. A salted, one-way hash of your IP address is stored to limit spam; the address itself is not stored. Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. To ask for a message to be deleted, contact me through LinkedIn.

Videos

Video pages show a preview image only. The YouTube player — in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) — loads only after you press play. From then on, YouTube's privacy policy applies to that player.

External links

Articles, news summaries, and social posts link to other websites, including the original publishers of news stories. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site, as any web host does.
